We earn a commission

When you book a departure through a link on this site, Mont Saint-Michel Tours may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is the operator’s price; nothing is added for us. Links to Viator and to GetYourGuide carry a tracking code that tells them the booking came from here.

What this site is not

This is not the abbey, the Centre des monuments nationaux that runs it, the Établissement public du Mont-Saint-Michel that runs the car park and the shuttle, or the tourist office. This site does not employ guides, hold permits, run vehicles or set prices. Bookings, changes and refunds are handled entirely by the operator you book with.

Operators cannot pay for placement

No operator can buy a position here, a badge, or a place in the featured three. Ordering is by rating and review volume and by how well a departure answers a particular question. The badges are measurable claims checked against the listings: the best-seller badge goes to the product carrying the highest review count, and the top-rated badge to the largest review sample at 4.9 or above. The best-value badge is not awarded at all, because the lowest fare belongs to the product that already carries best seller. Awarding it to the second-cheapest would be an unprovable claim, so it stays unawarded.

Cancellation is not universal here, and we say which

Most departures listed refund in full up to 24 hours before travel. Four do not: one abbey entry ticket is non-refundable outright, and three trips repay in full only with six or seven days’ notice. Those four carry their own refund line on their own card rather than being covered by a blanket promise. Where a listing’s summary line and its policy text disagree about the window, this site quotes the longer of the two.

Prices, ratings and figures drift

Prices, star ratings, review counts and inclusions shown here are the operators’ own figures, captured from their live listings on 26 August 2026 and refreshed periodically. They change without notice. Treat every figure here as indicative and the operator’s own booking page as authoritative at the moment you pay.

Facts about the Mont

Statements about the abbey and the bay — opening hours, admission prices, free-entry categories, the dated history, the UNESCO inscription, the parking tariff and the shuttle timetable — are drawn from the Centre des monuments nationaux, the Établissement public du Mont-Saint-Michel, the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the Mont-Saint-Michel tourist office. Where an operator’s listing and an official source disagree, the official source wins and we say so on the page.

Reviews are paraphrased, not invented

Every traveller comment on this site is a paraphrase of a real review left on the product’s own booking listing, tagged to the departure it describes. Critical reviews are kept. This site publishes no review or rating schema of its own: the star figures you see are the operators’, shown as plain text and labelled as theirs.
